The Southampton community takes over East Street for a September festival with an arts theme and businesses are opening their doors for arts activities in the East Street, Queensway and Bargate area.
Why?
The festival is part of revitalising the neighbourhood, bringing more people to the East St area, strengthen the sense of local community and having conversations about ideas for the future. An arts theme has been chosen for this festival because of the vibrancy that music, performance and visual arts can bring, and because there is so much talent in the city.
